Mosaics

For their wide range of chromatic scale mosaics made with ceramic are particularly adaptable for the decoration of wide spaces.

Mosaic can be made using the 'troncadis' technique, used by the famous modernist Spanish architect Gaudì (for example in the Sagrada Famiglia, Parque Guell, Casa Pedrera, Casa Battlò in Barcellona). It's the art of cutting pieces of ceramic and glueing them together, creating images with many gradations of colours.
