Tromple L'oeil

Trompe l'oeil is French for 'trick the eye' and it is a decorative painting that creates an illusion of a three dimensional space.

It is used to enlarge a room, representing for instance landscape or architecture.

A trompe l'oeil can be painted in any size and on any surface; directly on a wall, on canvas, on panels and then fixed to the wall.
